Spurs have seen an offer for Franck Kessie rejected by the player with Calciomercato reporting that Tottenham had put a contract on the table for the midfielder.
Kessie’s future looks incredibly uncertain. As noted by Transfermarkt, his contract with AC Milan expires next summer.

The Rossoneri are working on an extension. But Paolo Maldini would rather sell the 24-year-old in this window if they cannot agree fresh terms.
And it seems that Spurs are one of the teams to have made a move.
According to Calciomercato, Tottenham offered Kessie a deal worth £132,000-a-week, which is higher than the £107,000-a-week terms he wants from Milan.

However, Kessie has apparently snubbed the offer from Spurs. It is claimed that he wants to prioritise talks with Milan.
The most recent offer from the Serie A side was worth around £82,000-a-week. So it would appear that they have some way to go before an agreement is reached.
Could Spurs really sign Kessie this summer?
It would be a huge surprise if Tottenham sign Kessie this summer. The links appear to have come out of nowhere.
Having said that, perhaps it would be foolish to write it off entirely as well.
Fabio Paratici will certainly know all about the Ivorian. And with his contract at San Siro expiring next year, there could be an opportunity for another club.
Spurs have also brought in two key signings on loan this summer. So the moves for Cristian Romero and Pierluigi Gollini may have left the open for the club to spend a little more on a marquee move before the deadline passes.
