Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor have joined the race for Arsenal fullback Sead Kolasinac.
According to Trabzon-based publication 61saat, the Black Sea side are keen to sign a left-back this summer. Trabzonspor are focused on adding ‘a star name’ to the club’s ranks.

As per the report, Trabzonspor are interested in Kolasinac and have made a loan offer for the defender.
Kolasinac is likely to leave Arsenal this summer. The Bosnian international spent the second half of last season on-loan with Schalke 04. The defender has over 12 months remaining on his current contract. The fullback reportedly earns £100,000 a week according to Spotrac.

Mikel Arteta is seemingly keen to sign a new left-back to both challenge Kieran Tierney as well as serve as backup. The Scottish international has spent multiple weeks during his Arsenal spell out on the injury table with various problems and issues.
Arsenal have to sell Kolasinac this summer
This transfer window is shaping up to be Arsenal’s most important in years. And selling Kolasinac will be an ideal start for the Gunners.

With the defender having no future with the club and being one of the highest-paid defenders at the club, Kolasinac will be much better off moving on this summer for greener pastures. And a move to Trabzonspor, who finished fourth last season in the Turkish Super Lig, could be an ideal destination.
The Turkish side have been on the rise over years, with Trabzonspor close to winning the title in 2020. However, the Covid-19 pandemic curtailed the campaign and the footballing world in general.

Yet with normal life slowly resuming, Trabzonspor can resume their rise up the ranks in Turkey with the signing of Kolasinac, who could be a fantastic addition to the Super Lig side as they continue their quest for a first league title since 1984.
