Leeds United will face an uphill battle in their pursuit of Florentino Luis this summer, with reports suggesting the Portuguese youngster has his heart set on a move to AC Milan.
It was initially reported by TuttoMercatoWeb earlier this week that Leeds were keen on the Portuguese talent and could look to make a move for the player this summer. They suggested Leeds were ready to battle Milan for the player, who could cost anywhere between £18-£27 million.
Portuguese reports then backed up those claims, with Mais Futebol suggesting Leeds were ready to make a loan-to-buy offer for the player.
However, it would appear that Leeds will have a big task convincing him to sign before he hears from Milan.

SportItalia is reporting, as relayed by PianetaMilan, that the 20-year-old will not discuss a move with any other teams until he has heard a proposal from the Rossoneri.
He is clearly a fan of the idea of joining the famous Italian club and before agreeing on anything with Leeds, or any other interested party, wants to have the chance to head to the San Siro.
It means Leeds will not be able to get any deal done for Florentino Luis in a short period of time, having to wait instead to see what happens regarding Milan’s interest.
A potentially perfect midfield reinforcement for Leeds, Whites fans will no doubt be hoping that the Milan interest develops into nothing and that the West Yorkshire side can indeed win the race for Florentino’s signature.
