Liverpool midfielder Allan is wanted by Flamengo, according to reports in Brazil.
Allan is currently on loan with Fluminense in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A – Brazil’s top division. But Fluminense’s city rivals Flamengo now want to sign Allan, according to Revista Colorada.
Liverpool signed Allan in 2015 after he caught the eye in Internacional’s youth team. But work permit issues have prevented the Brazil U23 starlet from ever playing for the Reds.

Allan is now on loan at Fluminense – his sixth temporary club since joining Liverpool. He has also had spells in Finland (SJK), Belgium (Sint-Truiden), Germany (Hertha Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt) and Cyprus (Apollon Limassol). His success has been varied.
Now he is back in Brazil, Allan is making a name for himself. The 22-year-old is impressing in Rio de Janeiro and has attracted the attention of his rivals. Flamengo will now try to sign Allan from Liverpool.
TBR’s view
It is time for Liverpool to part ways with Allan. He is now 22 and he deserves to make a name for himself by making a permanent move somewhere.
The diminutive midfielder is clearly impressing in Brazil and he seems happy and settled. Whether he is at Flamengo or Fluminense, Allan deserves a permanent Liverpool exit.
