Italian club Fiorentina are reportedly after Bobby Duncan. According to The Mail, Fiorentina want to take Duncan on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool. And Duncan also wants this move to happen.
Danish side FC Nordsjaelland recently failed with a loan swoop for Duncan. Liverpool reasoned that they want to keep Duncan around this season, using him in the U23 squad and possibly in the first-team for cup matches.

But Fiorentina’s interest might bring about a change of heart. The Serie A club could offer the 18-year-old some playing time in the Italian top-flight. This would prepare the teenager well for his return to Anfield.
Duncan joined Liverpool last summer from Manchester City. He is the cousin of Steven Gerrard and he scored a stunning total of 32 goals for the academy last season. Alongside Paul Glatzel and Rhian Brewster, Liverpool have three exciting strikers. Duncan could now continue his development with a loan move to the Viola.
TBR’s view
As long as Fiorentina can promise Duncan playing time, this would be an excellent move. Not only would he be gaining experience but he would also be playing at a high level. There are some top teams in Italy and if he can impress in Serie A, it shows that he would succeed at Liverpool.
The England youth striker is seen as a star in the making. This loan spell could push him to the forefront of Jurgen Klopp’s plans and it would be a much better test than Nordsjaelland.
