According to Inter Live, Tottenham figure Fabio Paratici is eyeing a double raid on Inter Milan to sign Stefan de Vrij and Marcelo Brozovic.
Spurs are willing to put £40 million on the table for the duo who helped the Serie A outfit to the title last season.
Tottenham haven’t yet appointed a manager, although ex-Roma boss Paulo Fonseca is the heavy favourite for the role.

The squad at Spurs is in need of some work. Jose Mourinho suffered from an imbalance that ultimately cost him his job.
Furthermore, the squad has many players who simply aren’t up to the required standard.
That much is evident in defence. Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez have been out of form, whilst Toby Alderweireld has also looked short of confidence.
As a result, signing De Vrij makes perfect sense. He made 42 appearances for Inter last season, proving a rock at centre-back.
Brozovic is a midfielder and Tottenhan could certainly benefit from another player in their engine room.
Brozovic also made 42 appearances for Inter last season, scoring twice and claiming seven assists.
He has made 60 appearances for Croatia and featured against England at Wembley on Sunday.
De Vrij and Brozovic to Tottenham: Both could prove shrewd additions
Both players are out of contract in just over a year and that could tempt Inter into a sale this summer.
That would be music to the ears of Tottenham who are desperate to attract some new players.
Both De Vrij and Brozovic have a tremendous amount of quality and would improve the current Tottenham ranks.

Fonseca will know all about these players having come up against them in Serie A.
Paratici is an eye-catching appointment behind the scenes for Tottenham and these two additions could be a real statement of intent.
