Newcastle United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Kieran Trippier.
The Magpies have been linked with the England international for a number of weeks now.
But now, it looks as though Trippier will become Newcastle’s first signing of the PIF era.

Sky Sports claim Newcastle have agreed a fee of around £12million, plus add-ons, with Atletico Madrid for Trippier.
The 31-year-old will now reportedly travel to Tyneside for a medical.
Personal terms are not thought to be a problem, added the Sky Sports report.
They claimed Atletico wanted Trippier to stay but the defender made it clear he wanted to return to England.
And Spanish outlet AS has reported that the former Tottenham man “will be” a Newcastle player by Wednesday.
They claimed Trippier is eager to return to England for family reasons.
Diego Simeone recently admitted he wanted Atletico to keep the “extraordinary” Trippier.
However, he acknowledged that it would be up to the player whether he wanted to move.

Trippier joined Atletico from Tottenham in 2019 for a reported £20million.
He has made 86 appearances for the Spanish capital side, winning La Liga last season.
Trippier has also won 35 England caps and featured in the Euro 2020 final.
