Liverpool look set to lose promising youngster Rafael Camacho at the end of the season, according to reports.
As per Sky Sports News, Liverpool were hoping to tie Camacho down to a new deal but contract talks have stalled.
With Camacho’s current deal only running until summer 2020, Liverpool might be forced to cash in on the midfielder this summer.
According to Goal, Portuguese duo Benfica and Sporting Lisbon will rival Bundesliga side Red Bull Leipzig for Camacho.
The 18-year-old was part of Sporting CP’s academy as a schoolboy before moving to England to join Manchester City.
Since leaving Man City, he has come through the ranks at Liverpool – signing a four-year deal in 2016 – and is a regular in the under-23 side.

Camacho also made his first-team debut earlier this season in the FA Cup loss against Wolves. He also played his first Premier League match two weeks later.
But Liverpool risk losing the Portugal youth international, who operates as a winger or as a right-back.
This would be a blow for Liverpool, who clearly rate Camacho as one for the future and want to see him sign an extension.
Time has not run out just yet because there is one more year on his deal but Liverpool could be tempted to cash in before he loses value.
