Everton are amongst the clubs chasing Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen ahead of the January transfer window, according to a report from The Sun on Sunday (15/12; page 61).
Bowen is arguably one of the most exciting prospects outside of the Premier League. The 22-year-old has already scored 15 Championship goals for Hull this term, and is well on track to eclipse last season’s impressive tally of 22 goals.

The Sun on Sunday (15/12; page 61) reports that the Tigers want £20 million for their talisman, and plan to take up the option in his contract that could keep him at the club until the end of next season.
But there is plenty of interest. The report suggests that Everton have been alerted to his form, while Newcastle United are also in the running.

TBR View – Will Everton fans have concerns?
Bowen could prove to be a fantastic signing for Everton. Nevertheless, the supporters would be forgiven for having concerns about a move for the youngster.
In terms of attacking additions, the Toffees arguably need to prioritise signing a new striker. Bowen is capable of leading the line. But most of his goals have come from out wide – and Everton are well-stocked in that area of the field.
That should not put the Toffees off a move given his potential. But if they are not planning to make too many marquee moves in January, Bowen should arguably not be a priority.
