Everton are interested in signing Max Aarons this summer, with Frank Lampard ready to loan Nathan Patterson out ahead of this season, according to a report from The Sun.
The Toffees fans are concerned as the new Premier League campaign looms. Their only first-team signing has been James Tarkowski on a free.

Meanwhile, they have lost their best player in Richarlison. Interestingly, one of the last players they spent a considerable sum on may also be on the way out in the near future.
According to The Sun, Lampard wants Patterson loaned out this summer. The right-back arrived for £16 million during the January transfer window. But injury limited him to just one appearance for the Toffees.

The hope is that he will play regularly in the Championship. And with that, Everton have their eye on signing another right-back as competition for Seamus Coleman.
The report claims that Everton want Aarons. The 22-year-old is now preparing for another season in the Championship after Norwich City were relegated.
Everton fans may be a little baffled if Toffees sign Aarons
Everton desperately need new signings. They barely stayed up last year and have since sold the player who did more than anyone to keep them in the league.
Patterson is obviously not yet the finished article. Meanwhile, Aarons has now played 70 games at the highest level.
He has been described as an ‘outstanding‘ player. But his stock has probably fallen since he burst onto the scene.
Much may depend on how much Norwich want for Aarons. But Patterson is clearly a hugely exciting prospect. He is the kind of player the Goodison Park faithful will really love if he gets into the team and starts to show his potential.
So loaning Patterson out and using some of their limited budget on Aarons would be another gamble from their recruitment department.
