Everton star Bernard is reportedly attracting interest from Dubai-based club Al Nasr.
According to the Telegraph, United Arab Emirates side Al Nasr are keen on trying to sign the 28-year-old during the current January transfer window.
It is explained that Everton would be prepared to listen to offers for several players that are not nailed-on starters.
But the report adds that they have a £9million asking price on Brazilian attacker Bernard and are “determined” to stick to that price.
The left-winger is seen as one of the more saleable assets at Goodison Park amid interest from abroad.
Bernard has made just 10 appearances across all competitions this season.
The 5ft 5in South American is a talented creator that has such a low centre of gravity when he’s dribbling, but he can’t cement a spot in Carlo Ancelotti’s XI right now.
He’s on a huge £120,000-a-week (Spotrac) deal with the Merseyside club, albeit he was signed on a free transfer back in 2018.
Bernard is certainly a useful player to have around the Everton squad, especially as they’ve got a real chance of finishing in the European positions based on the first half of the season.
But it’s hard to picture him starting many games when everybody is fit.
Richarlison is a real talisman for the Toffees that is most commonly going to start on the left wing, while on the opposite flank there is competition from the likes of James Rodriguez and Alex Iwobi as well.
