Everton are reportedly interested in bringing Kurt Zouma back to Goodison Park on another loan deal, according to The Express.

The Chelsea centre-back enjoyed a great stint with the Toffees last season, making 36 appearances in all competitions.

Zouma, a two-time Premier League winner with Chelsea, has kicked on under Frank Lampard, with 33 appearances under his belt this term including 19 Premier League starts.

However, The Express claims Chelsea could be open to offers for the £40,000-a-week France international and potentially raise funds as they look to invest in their squad.

Hakim Ziyech is joining the club this summer, while Timo Werner is reportedly on the verge of a switch too, which would take their spending so far to around £90million.

The outlet claims Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is eager to bring Zouma, the Toffees seemingly preferring another loan or swap move for a player who has three years left on his Blues contract.

Tottenham have also been linked with the 25-year-old and they reportedly want to do a permanent deal but could struggle to match the west Londoners’ valuation of around £20million.

TBR View:

Zouma has enjoyed a fair amount of first-team football at Chelsea but some Blues fans remain unconvinced by his displays, opinion within the fanbase very much split down the middle.

He became a fan favourite at Everton and Toffees fans would certainly welcome him back without a doubt, especially given their struggles at the back and a need to reinforce.

However, would Chelsea really look to loan out a player who is getting plenty of first team action as it is? Surely if they wanted to raise funds to bring in someone else, they’d just sell him.
