Everton still want Aaron Ramsey despite being told that he wants £230,000-a-week at his next club should he leave Juventus, according to a report from the Sunday Mirror (12/12; page 64).
Ramsey is wanted by Everton, Newcastle United and West Ham. It is claimed that Rafa Benitez is driving the Toffees’ interest in the Wales international.

Juve would like to offload the 30-year-old during the January transfer window. And they are prepared to sanction a free transfer to make a deal happen.
However, convincing Ramsey to leave the Old Lady may not be as easy. The Sunday Mirror (12/12; page 64) reports that he does not want to take a pay-cut, unless he receives a pay-out from the Serie A giants.
He earns £230,000-a-week in Turin. And it is claimed that he is also keen to receive a contract that runs until 2025 should he find a new club.

Those figures are eye-watering. But it would appear that Everton have not been deterred in their pursuit.
The Sunday Mirror reports that the Toffees remain keen on Ramsey after learning the finances involved in a potential deal.
Everton signing Aaron Ramsey may not sit well with Toffees supporters as Benitez continues to face criticism
Benitez secured a big win against Arsenal earlier this week. Nevertheless, the Spaniard continues to face an uphill battle trying to win his doubters over at Goodison Park.
Signing Ramsey on a lengthy contract will surely do him few favours. The midfielder is a brilliant player. And his performances with Wales suggest that his time with Juventus has not had too much of an impact on his ability to stand out in games.
However, signing James Rodriguez did Everton few favours. And fans were not overly impressed when they were recently linked with Eden Hazard.
So it would take a lot for Benitez to successfully argue that signing Ramsey would be a step in the right direction for Everton.
If the Welshman gets his way, he could be on £230,000-a-week until he is 34.
