The Times has been reporting on the state of Everton’s current expiring contracts, suggesting two will definitely be on their way out of the club.
Whilst Leighton Baines is likely to be offered a chance to continue his association with the club, Everton are less likely to keep Maarten Stekelenburg at the club, although it is possible considering his invaluable experience in the goalkeeping department.
But for Oumar Niasse and Cuco Martina, it appears to be the end of the road.
It also suggests just how much money the club will be saving once both players have left the club.

Niasse is reportedly on £50,000-a-week whilst Martina earns £35,000-a-week but neither player has recently been a member of the first-team on a regular or impactful basis. It means Everton can expect to save around £85,000-a-week when the duo leave the club at the end of June.
The Senegalese forward was a reported (ESPN) £13.5 million signing from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2016 whilst Martina followed Ronald Koeman from Southampton.
Neither have been a hit at Goodison Park and loan moves to the likes of Hull City and Cardiff for Niasse and Stoke and Feyenoord for Martina have been mixed in their degrees of success.
Carlo Ancelotti will no doubt be looking forward to the pair’s departure, so that Marcel Brands can use the savings to help strengthen the team in pressing areas.
