Everton striker Fraser Hornby could be on his way to Belgium. According to Belgian news outlet HLN, Hornby is flying to check out KV Kortrijk’s facilities ahead of a potential move from Everton.
Kortrijk are hoping to convince Hornby that this is the right move. He will make his decision after checking out the club’s facilities. It is not mentioned whether Hornby will be leaving on loan or permanently if he chooses to go.
The 19-year-old has been highly rated as he progresses through the ranks in Merseyside. He was part of the Everton U23 team that won the Premier League 2 last season. In total, he has scored eight goals in 33 games for the U23 team, as well as netting 16 in 20 games for the U18s.

Hornby has been a loan target for Football League clubs in the past but has stayed with Everton. The Scotland U21 starlet could now move to Belgium for the next stage of his career.
TBR’s view
Everton should not let Hornby leave on a permanent deal. But if this is a loan stint, this could be the making of the young striker. With regular playing time and goals in Belgium, the teenager could take the next step towards becoming an Everton first-team player.
