Rangers want more than £10 million before they give Nathan Patterson the green light to leave Ibrox – but The Sun on Sunday (12/9; page 60) reports that Everton are prepared to meet those demands.
Patterson was linked with a Goodison Park switch in the final days of the summer transfer window.

As noted by the Daily Record, the Toffees made two bids for Patterson. The higher offer was apparently worth £8 million.
But the Gers dug their heels in and managed to keep the Scotland international. However, that does not appear to have deterred Everton.
According to The Sun on Sunday (12/9; page 60), Rafa Benitez is keen to reignite his interest in Patterson in the winter.

Rangers meanwhile, reportedly want more than £10 million. Interestingly, it is claimed that Everton are willing to pay.
Rangers likely to want a lot more than £10 million as Everton continue to chase Patterson
The notion that Rangers want more than £10 million seems quite obvious. Surely, the Scottish Premiership champions will want a lot more than £10 million.
The 19-year-old looks to be an outstanding talent.
Rangers will also be aware that Everton could really do with signing a new right-back in the winter. They left themselves incredibly short of options this summer.
So that may also tempt the Gers to demand a higher fee.
Everton are reportedly willing to pay an eight-figure figure for the teenager however.
So it certainly seems that Rangers’ resolve to keep the youngster is going to be tested over the coming months.
