Everton are set to offer a new deal to talented youngster Joao Virginia, before sending him out on loan for the 2019/20 season.
The Toffees have been hugely impressed with the 19-year-old since he joined the club last summer from Arsenal, and are ready to tie him down according to The Liverpool Echo.

Virginia was superb for the club’s U23s and certainly played his part in helping David Unsworth’s team win the Premier League 2 title.
The club have high hopes for the Portuguese goalkeeper, who is expected to soon finalise a loan move to Championship side Reading.
With the club picking up free agent Jonas Lossl, a temporary move away for Virginia seems like the best option for the young talent.
TBR’s view
Virginia has brilliant potential and therefore it is important for him to be experiencing regular first-team football.
He’s been developing nicely within Everton’s youth setup, but playing consistently within a first-team will definitely be more beneficial to him at this point.

Moving to Reading could be a great opportunity for him with so many potential games to play.
Should he succeed, then he might well find himself in the first-team picture back at Everton in 2020/21.
