Everton have reportedly joined Newcastle United in the race for Joao Pedro.
The Daily Mail claims the Toffees are willing to match the Magpies’ £30million offer for the Watford star.
Everton have apparently made contact over Pedro and are ready to rival Newcastle for his signature.

The Magpies have made good progress over the 20-year-old and are reportedly confident of signing him.
However, interest from Goodison Park has been deemed ‘potentially a complicating factor’.
Everton and Chelsea have reportedly been in talks over a £60million move for Anthony Gordon.
Should Gordon leave the Toffees, they’d need a replacement, and it looks as though Pedro is in their sights.
Pedro joined Watford from Fluminense in 2019 and has made 78 appearances, including 31 in the Premier League.
He has 14 goals and five assists for the Hornets, and has contributed to their bright start this season.
Rob Edwards described his performance in their season-opener against Sheffield United as “incredible“.
Admittedly, Pedro hasn’t been particularly prolific for Watford.
However, he is still young, is getting better with each passing season, and his ceiling is very high.
On Twitter, fans have compared Pedro’s style of play to Richarlison, Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino.
Everton would be getting themselves a top talent in Pedro, but Newcastle will be stern competition.
