Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha reportedly “expects” to join Everton in the remainder of the summer transfer window.

According to the Independent, the 26-year-old believes he will be complete a move to Goodison Park before Thursday’s deadline.

It is understood that the Toffees are working on a deal for the Ivory Coast international and are prepared to submit a £65million bid that Palace want.

But the report details that Palace want a payment for Zaha in full and Everton are trying to work out the structure of their potential offer.

Zaha is attracted to the ambition at the Merseyside club and they have already signed wonderkid Moise Kean from Juventus this summer.

TBR’s View:

It looks like Everton are willing to meet the price tag for Zaha, but need to work out the finer details of how that payment will be made.

The versatile attacker will be a quality addition for manager Marco Silva if a deal is wrapped up and give them a better chance of pushing for the European spots.

Zaha should adapt quickly given he’s proven in the Premier League and he can play anywhere across the frontline with his pace and trickery.

He scored 10 goals and supplied 10 assists in 36 games across all competitions last season for Palace, plus he should soon be entering the peak years of his career.
