Everton are reportedly invested in signing Crystal Palace dazzler Wilfried Zaha this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, the Toffees have made contact to Premier League rivals Palace about the 26-year-old.
It is understood that Marco Silva’s team are ready to start with a £55million bid, as they look to break their club record to get him.
The report explains that the Merseyside club could go as high as £70million for the attacker, but there is also huge interest from Arsenal in the player.
The Mail’s report detail that Arsenal have seen a £40million approach for Zaha turned down and he’s now valued at around £100million to try put off suitors.
Zaha is believed to be keen on exiting Selhurst Park and his desire is to play Champions League football.
The Ivory Coast international scored 10 goals and supplied 10 assists last season for Palace in 36 games across all competitions.
He is a speed machine with great skill and can play as either a centre-forward or a winger.

TBR’s View:
Everton’s attack still needs some strengthening to make a push for European places realistic and Zaha would certainly be a major boost.
He’s proven himself in the Premier League during recent years to be a nightmare for defenders and is ready for a step up.
It looks like it’s going to take a mammoth transfer fee to prize him away from Palace, but it may be worth the risk for Everton and to beat Arsenal to his signature would be some statement.
Silva’s team is certainly still lacking in the goal department by the looks of it and the Palace wide man would help solve that issue with his creativity.
