Report: Everton poised to make Luis Alberto bid
Everton are reportedly poised to make an offer for Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto.
Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed the Toffees are ‘at the window’ for the Spanish playmaker, along with Juventus and Inter Milan.
Everton have actually been linked with the former Liverpool man for a while, but speculation about a potential move to Goodison has picked up recently due to Alberto’s situation at Lazio.

Currently, there is a bit of drama between club and player, with Alberto supposedly taking a dim view of the club’s recent decision to buy a new luxury club plane while expecting players to take salary cuts.
The player won’t apologise for his stance which is said to have angered club officials.
An exit is therefore being touted, and Everton are reported to be ready to present a suitable offer.
TBR’s View – Alberto could be decent Everton signing
Lazio may find themselves under pressure to sell in January, especially if the situation turns ugly and he agitates for a move.

There could therefore be a chance for Everton to snap up a pretty decent player for a reasonable fee.
Last season Alberto scored seven goals and laid on a very impressive 17 assists for teammates in all competitions, highlighting his playmaking qualities.
Arguably Everton still need an attacking midfielder, with James Rodriguez playing more from the right-wing when some expected him to operate as a 10.
