Everton are reportedly ready to trigger Adolfo Gaich’s release clause. According to the Argentinian version of Marca, Everton are willing to pay $15m (just under £12m) for San Lorenzo striker Gaich.
The Toffees have been scouting Gaich at the U20 World Cup in Poland. The Argentina youth international scored three times and netted in the penalty shootout loss against Mali.
Consequently, this has not gone unnoticed with Everton now ready to make a move for Gaich. Everton have been strongly linked with Santiago Sosa of River Plate (The Daily Mail) but now they want his international team-mate.
Gaich is a physical centre-forward who stands at 6ft 3in tall. He already has the physical attributes to fit in at senior level and has broken into the San Lorenzo first-team.

The 20-year-old has played 11 Primera Division games for San Lorenzo, scoring two goals. Therefore, he is being tipped for a big future in Argentina.
A move to England could be the next step in his career. Everton have a growing South American contingent and Gaich could be the next player to join the Merseyside outfit.
Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin shared the striker duties last season, with Richarlison occasionally playing as the centre-forward.
Marco Silva wants reinforcements in this department. And Gaich could be Everton’s long-term solution in attack.
