Everton are now talking about launching a £30 million bid for Watford striker Joao Pedro today, with the Daily Mail reporting that his club are waiting for offers.
Reports suggested yesterday that Everton are now moving to sign Pedro before tonight’s deadline.
The Toffees have been busy bolstering Frank Lampard’s squad this summer and have already added a striker in Neal Maupay.
But with Dominic Calvert-Lewin currently working his way back from an injury, Everton could go for another striker today.
And it seems Lampard’s men could be lining up a last-minute move for the ‘unbelievable’ Pedro.

Everton talking about bid for Pedro
Watford are awaiting offers for Pedro today and Everton could make their move, as stated in the Daily Mail’s Live blog (8.04am).
The Toffees are apparently talking about launching a £30 million bid for the player.
The Championship side will be keen to keep hold of the Brazilian, especially if they lose Ismaila Sarr today.
The 20-year-old has started the season brilliantly for the Hornets as he’s managed two goals and two assists in six games.
Pedro has shown he is capable of playing in the Premier League and was often a standout performer for Watford last season.
The Brazilian seems to fit the bill perfectly for a long-term Richarlison replacement at Goodison Park.

While he’s still young and hasn’t reached Richarlison’s level yet, he is certainly capable of following a similar path.
Lampard will be eager to bolster his attacking options before the window closes, despite having signed Dwight McNeil and Maupay already.
The Toffees are lacking a player who can provide decent competition for Demarai Gray.
It remains to be seen whether or not Watford will sell one of their key players, especially on deadline day.
At just 20, Pedro has an incredibly high ceiling and could develop into the perfect replacement for Richarlison at Goodison Park.
