Manchester United have reportedly turned their attention to Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to the Evening Standard, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to find a replacement for next year when they are expected to lose Ander Herrera on a free transfer.
It is understood that Old Trafford officials have refused to meet Herrera’s wage demands of £200,000-a-week and that’s why he’s set to make a switch to Paris Saint-Germain.
The report details that Gueye is now in Manchester United’s sights, who has already attracted interest from PSG.
Gueye could reportedly be available for less than £30million to prize away from Goodison Park in the summer.

TBR’s View:
Champions League quarter-finalists Manchester United are being tipped to spend in the summer to mark the new reign of Solskjaer and that should be a warning to other clubs.
Gueye has once again been a key performer at Everton this campaign and the partnership he has alongside Andre Gomes in midfield has blossomed in recent weeks.
The Senegal international is a no-nonsense enforcer that has to be considered one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League and offloading him for under £30million could be considered cheap.
But he does turn 30 later this year and the money would allow Silva to go invest elsewhere perhaps in a younger option.
