Everton have reportedly made an ambitious move to try land Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi.
According to Le Parisien, the Toffees are one of the teams chasing the 32-year-old and have come forward with an approach for him.
it is understood that Manchester United, Monaco, Lyon and also his former club Paris Saint-Germain want him for the new season.
But the report details that the midfield enforcer has no reason to exit Juventus anytime soon.
Matuidi is a powerhouse that is renowned for his strength and presence in the centre of the park, where he is often too strong for opponents.
The left-footed central midfielder can join in with attacks when needed and has plenty of experience at the top level.

TBR’s View:
Matuidi would be an incredible signing for Everton if they could pull it off, but it looks like it’s unlikely to happen.
He has all the tools that could make him a force in the Premier League, but it seems unlikely he would ditch Italian giants Juventus for Goodison Park.
Marco Silva does have some quality options in the centre of the park with the likes of Idrissa Gueye, Andre Gomes and Fabian Delph at his disposal.
English audiences have unfortunately never seen Matuidi grace the Premier League and it would be a surprise if he ever does.
