Everton are reportedly ahead of both Arsenal and Manchester United when it comes to landing Juventus and France midfielder, Adrien Rabiot.
According to an updated report from the Daily Mail, the Toffees are apparently confident of striking a deal with Juventus.

Officials at Goodison Park are hoping Carlo Ancelotti can play a big part in bringing the Frenchman to Merseyside. The Italian manager previously had Rabiot whilst manager of PSG.
Rabiot is thought to be interesting a number of clubs this summer. This comes after he has failed to live up to the hype, so to speak, at Juve following a move from France last summer.
Juventus are thought to be open to letting Rabiot leave the club. Indeed, the midfielder is thought to be unhappy with his situation, especially after the Turin giants slashed his massive £28m-a-year wages. (The Sun)

This number of scenarios could all play into the hands of Everton. They’ll, therefore, be hoping that Ancelotti can indeed prove the lucky charm.
Unsure how Everton can afford his wages, a loan move makes more sense – TBR View
If Everton are leading the race to sign Rabiot then surely it has to be a loan?
Juventus aren’t going to allow him to leave for a small fee and his wages are massive. In the current climate, it’s hard to see how the Toffees can afford both.
It would, of course, be a great signing. Rabiot is still a massive talent despite struggling in Italy.
Rabiot was hoping to impress in Turin. He got off to a positive start, too, claiming that he was already seeing improvements in his game thanks to his relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo.
