Everton are supposedly leading the chase for highly rated Scottish youngster Jamie Hamilton.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, the Toffees are currently in pole position for the Hamilton Academical teenager, who is one of the brightest prospects in Scotland.

Scouts have provided positive feedback on Hamilton, who has been playing regular football this season.
It is thought that the Accies are bracing themselves for offers, with Wolves, Aston Villa, Burnley, Brighton and Fulham also keen.
Carlo Ancelotti is keen to bolster his defensive options this month.
At the moment the Italian has only three options at central defence – Yerry Mina, Michael Keane and Mason Holgate.
TBR’s view – Everton need experience
Everton fans will desperately hope for the club to pursue a more experienced option as well as Hamilton.

The 17-year-old has a very bright future, but is not really in a position to help change the fortunes of the first-team.
Ancelotti needs to bring in somebody who is consistent and someone who can organise.
The Toffees have been all over the place at the back this term, and an experienced leader type has the be the priority.
