Everton are apparently interested in signing AS Roma midfielder Steven Nzonzi.
According to Leggo, the Toffees are keen on the former Premier League enforcer, who is also being tracked by French outfit Marseille.

Nzonzi has only been with Roma for a year since transferring from Sevilla last summer for £27.3 million (BBC Sport), but could depart with the club seemingly in the middle of an exodus.
Luca Pellegrini, Stephan El Shaarawy and Kostas Manolas have all already left, and Nicolo Zaniolo, Edin Dzeko, Diego Perotti and Alessandro Florenzi are all being tipped to depart too.
6ft 5in colossus Nzonzi racked up 39 appearances for Roma last term, so it will be interesting to see Everton attempt any move for a first-team regular who hasn’t been at his new club for very long.
TBR’s view
Everton moving for Nzonzi would probably come as a big surprise to the Toffees faithful.
The club’s director of football Marcel Brands is keen to snap up younger players this summer with high potential sell-on value – at the age of almost 31, Nzonzi would not be offering that.

That said, Nzonzi is a brilliant, physically imposing midfielder who has come along since his Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City days.
If Everton have to lose Idrissa Gueye or Morgan Schneiderlin, then the World Cup-winning Frenchman could be an option depending on his asking price.
