Everton are reportedly in the hunt for Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham but will face competition from two fellow Premier League sides.

The Frenchman has been heavily linked with Southampton this summer and the Saints, according to 90min, are back in for the player following the sale of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Everton, as well as West Ham, are also keen on the player.

Celtic are said to value Ntcham at £20 million after his excellent season at Parkhead in 2019-20.

Everton are clearly in need of central midfield recruitment and were in the hunt for Hojbjerg before he decided to join Spurs.

Ntcham could be the perfect option to help strengthen a significant weakness in the Everton first-team.

The likes of Fabian Delph and Jean-Philippe Gbamin have barely stayed fit since arriving last summer. Meanwhile, Tom Davies and Gylfi Sigurdsson have underperformed in the central midfield role whilst Andre Gomes slips from sublime to sloppy with increasing regularity.

Celtic will undoubtedly be keen to keep hold of Ntcham, a player who is key to their own hopes of winning a 10th Scottish title in a row.

But Everton might be a seriously difficult proposition for the Frenchman to reject this summer.
