Everton are reportedly keen on signing Toulouse midfielder Ibrahim Sangare this summer.
According to a report from SportMania, the Toffees are interested in the 22-year-old star, who is the Ligue 1 side’s captain.
Sangare is apparently also a target for Brighton, who have already tested the waters with a £17 million bid.

The five-cap Ivory Coast international has been an ever-present for rock-bottom Toulouse this term, making 25 appearances in all competitions.
The team have really struggled as a collective, but Sangare has been a shining light for his side and is highly likely to earn himself a move away if they go down. Given Toulouse are currently 14 points adrift of safety and have won just three of their 26 games, it’s surely a strong possibility.
Arguably, Everton have been lacking a player with bite and tenacity since the departure of Idrissa Gueye last summer, and the 6ft 3 in Sangare could be the overdue replacement.
TBR’s view – Sangare the presence Everton need
Everton need someone to bring that authority, someone to be a commanding presence in their engine room.

Sangare is a man who likes to get stuck in, as evidenced by his average of 3.3 tackles per 90 according to WhoScored.
He’s been booked seven times this term, but if anything that displays his combativeness.
If Toulouse do lose their Ligue 1 status, Sangare – who has previously drawn Yaya Toure comparisons – could be well worth a move by the Toffees.
