TBR’s View:

Everton’s arrival in the pursuit of Trezeguet is a slightly odd one and he may not get the guaranteed first-team action he’s searching for if he ends up at Goodison Park.

The Egypt international is a dazzling wide player that is great with both feet, has electric pace, and can play on either flank.

He scored nine goals and supplied 10 assists in 38 games across all competitions last season to highlight his quality.

But Everton already have the likes of Bernard, Richarlison, Theo Walcott and Ademola Lookman as option sin wide areas.

Trezeguet is an exciting talent that could be a real hit in the Premier League with his direct style, but wouldn’t be a frontline signing for Marco Silva’s team.
