Everton are reportedly in talks with the representatives of Lille defender Adama Soumaoro.
According to La Voix Du Nord, England is the 27-year-old’s ‘top destination’, with Crystal Palace also interested.
Apparently an offer between €12-15 million/£10-£13 million would be enough for Lille to consider a sale.

Captain Soumaoro – who has been with Lille for the whole of his professional career so far – made 22 appearances last term and has made 109 in total.
The star has two years remaining on his current contract and could leave this summer, with Everton seemingly reigniting their interest that stretches back two years (Daily Mail, December 2017).
TBR’s view
It would seem that, with the uncertainty over Kurt Zouma, Everton are trying to look at alternative centre-backs.
The Chelsea man is the priority, but the Blues may well want to keep hold of him given that they are under a transfer ban.
Soumaoro is a long-term target of Everton’s and could be a decent addition for Marco Silva’s side.

The 27-year-old is a strong defender who had a great season with Lille as they finished second in Ligue 1 behind Paris Saint-Germain in 2018/19.
He averaged 3.81 defensive duels at a success rate of 39% (via MEN), which is apparently higher than that of Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk.
Soumaoro is also a great passer of the ball, as evidenced by a 95.7% completion rate.
