Everton are planning on selling Cenk Tosun to a team in Europe before the September 2. According to the print edition of The Sun (August 11, page 59), Everton want to sell Tosun for £20m before the European transfer window closes.
The Toffees prioritised signing a striker this summer and Moise Kean joined from Juventus. Dominic Calvert-Lewin started in the centre-forward role against Crystal Palace with Kean coming on in the 69th minute.
Tosun was left on the bench during the 0-0 stalemate at Selhurst Park. Marco Silva seems to be keen to move Tosun on and recoup as much of the £27m fee (BBC Sport) they paid for him in January 2018.

In one-and-a-half seasons at Goodison Park, the Turkey striker has scored just nine goals in 43 games. He spent most of last season on the bench with Silva preferring either Calvert-Lewin or Richarlison.
Over the course of the summer, Tosun has been linked with a return to Besiktas (Fanatik). Everton will be working hard to find a potential suitor in the next few weeks.
TBR’s view
For the sake of Tosun’s career, it makes sense to let him leave on a permanent deal. Things have not worked out at Goodison Park and he needs to move on to reignite his career elsewhere.
But Everton are optimistic if they believe any club will pay £20m for the 28-year-old. His stock has fallen considerably since Everton splashed £27m on him and clubs are unlikely to take a £20m punt on him.
