Everton have joined Arsenal in the hunt to sign Leandro Trossard, according to a report by The Daily Star. And the Toffees are confident that they can win the race despite Arsenal and Bundesliga clubs taking an interest in him.
Trossard is the captain of Belgian top-flight side Genk but looks set for a major summer move. After impressing this season, several clubs have taken notice.
The former Belgium U21 winger only stands at 5ft 8in tall but he has been thriving in the Pro League. With 12 goals in 28 league games from the wing, Trossard is catching the eye.

Everton are weighing up their options ahead of the summer transfer window. Marco Silva’s men cannot finish in the top seven this season but have shown signs of improvement in the latter half of this campaign.
With exciting attacking options like Richarlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Bernard, Everton could be a force to be reckoned with next season.
But Silva wants to add Trossard to his squad. For £25m, Trossard is a risk but he could be worth the gamble if he can adjust to life in England.
The 24-year-old has also been pursued by Arsenal. But Everton believe they can beat the Gunners in the race to sign Trossard.
