Cenk Tosun has told the Turkish media that he is ‘so happy at Everton’ amid strong exit rumours.
Speaking to Fanatik, Tosun revealed that he was not looking to leave Everton and return to Turkey, contrary to various media reports.
Fenerbahce are among the clubs linked with a move for Tosun (Fotomac), who has struggled at Everton.
The Turkey international cost the Toffees £27m when he completed his January 2018 move from Besiktas, according to a report by Sky Sports News at the time.
But he has failed to live up to his hype and his price tag, scoring just eight goals in 41 appearances. This has led to speculation linking him with an exit in the summer.

However, the 27-year-old appears to be settled in Merseyside and he seems determined to make a success of his time with Everton.
As translated by Sport Witness, Tosun told Fanatik: “I’m not coming back to Turkey. I’m so happy at Everton. I want to be here for a long time. For my homeland, I want to make my flag proud here.
“Here, we represent Turkey. Not just me; Caglar Söyüncü, Cengiz Under, Hakan Calhanoglu, Zeki Celik, Merih Demiral, Okay Yokuslu are also the same … We represent not only our name but also the whole country.”
Everton have not seen the best of Tosun and he has still not adapted to English football after 15 months. But perhaps his attitude will earn him a reprieve and he will be hoping to change the minds of Marco Silva and many Everton fans.
