Everton have reportedly discussed a potential raid for Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha, but there could now be competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea for his signature.
According to the Telegraph, the Toffees have informed Palace that they are prepared to pay £60million plus Cenk Tosun for their talisman.
It is understood that the Merseyside club want to wrap up a deal for Zaha this summer and Palace have previously shown an interest in Tosun, so hope he could help swing the deal.
But the report details that Chelsea are preparing a bid for Zaha, which would take him to Stamford Bridge in a years time when their transfer ban ends.
Palace may prefer dealing with Chelsea, as it would give them another year of the 26-year-old at Selhurst Park and it would improve their chances of landing Blues striker Michy Batshuayi.

TBR’s View:
Zaha is a dazzling attacker that is proven in English football and would add some much-needed creativity to the Everton frontline.
The Ivory Coast international was directly involved in 20 goals for Palace last season in the Premier League and has blistering pace to torment defences.
Tosun has been unable to make a major impact during his time on Merseyside, so he would be a great makeweight to try help secure a deal for Zaha.
Chelsea joining the race for the versatile attacker certainly complicates matter, but the Toffees are trying to wrap up a deal in this window and their latest offer is a serious one that should be considered by Palace.
