Report: Everton eye pre-contract agreement for La Liga star Rui Silva
Premier League outfit Everton are keen on signing Granada goalkeeper Rui Silva, according to a report by Estadio Deportivo.
The Toffees currently have Jordan Pickford and Robin Olsen competing for the gloves – although the latter is only on loan at Goodison Park.
The 26-year-old stopper has played all but two of Granada’s 25 games this season, keeping 10 clean sheets in the process.

Granada came through a Europa League group featuring PSV, PAOK and Omonia Nicosia to set up a last 32 clash with Napoli.
Silva has played 107 times for the La Liga outfit in total since arriving in 2017 from Nacional in Portugal.
He is yet to play for the national team but does have two caps for the Portugal under-21 outfit to his name.
Everton’s search for a stopper is an intriguing one and perhaps Carlo Ancelotti still isn’t convinced with his current options.
Jordan Pickford has kept goal in all but two Premier League clashes, with on-loan Roma ace, Olsen, playing against Newcastle in November and Leicester last month.
Silva will be out of contract at the end of the current campaign and he is now able to negotiate a pre-contract agreement.
Everton are keen to land the stopper ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

Some doubts have hung over the England goalkeeper for some time now.
His form has been erratic on occasions and clearly, Ancelotti is keen to pile some pressure on his goalkeeper.

Silva has been very impressive this season, with Granada sat seventh in the table.
He commands his box well, is agile and boasts impressive distribution.
At 26 he is still yet to hit his peak as a goalkeeper and on a free, Everton could get themselves an impressive signing.
