Everton have added Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim to their list of potential candidates to succeed Marco Silva at Goodison Park, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Toffees are continuing their search for their next manager. Their 3-1 victory over Chelsea has taken some of the pressure off the decision-makers, and the Mirror has suggested that they have faith in Duncan Ferguson continuing as interim boss.

Despite their confidence in Ferguson, the Everton hierarchy are, unsurprisingly, stepping up their search. The Mirror notes that an approach for Mauricio Pochettino has been rejected.
And according to the Daily Mirror, the Toffees are now interested in Jardim. The 45-year-old is currently in his second spell at Monaco. He was sacked and replaced by Thierry Henry in 2018.

But he returned to the Principality club earlier this year following Henry’s disappointing spell. Monaco currently sit 11th in Ligue 1, but are within three points of the top four and have a game in hand over most of the sides above them.
Jardim’s greatest achievement came during his first stint at Monaco. They won the 2016/17 Ligue 1 title and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.

It remains to be seen how he would respond to a potential Everton approach. With Monaco well out of the title picture currently, perhaps he may be open to a fresh challenge.
Of course, Everton may not appeal to Jardim right now. But there is no question that the job on Merseyside could be a massive opportunity. The Toffees have the potential to do a lot better.
It could even be argued that they may be just one inspired managerial appointment – and perhaps a handful of similarly-masterful signings – away from fighting amongst those at the other end of the Premier League table.
