Everton are considering a move for Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, with the Daily Mirror reporting that Fulham are likely to sell the midfielder for £25 million.

It has been an odd season for Scott Parker’s side in many ways. They look set to be relegated from the Premier League having been cut some way adrift.

However, there have arguably been a number of players who have proved themselves more than good enough for the top flight. And Anguissa is certainly one of their shining lights.

The 25-year-old has been a superb performer in the middle of the park. And his form has caught the attention of Carlo Ancelotti.

The Daily Mirror reports that the Toffees want the Cameroon international. It is claimed that Fulham would be prepared to sell for £25 million with relegation seemingly looming.

Fulham making an immediate return to the Championship will be confirmed if they lose on Monday.

Some Everton fans may be wary of making a move for Anguissa given his side’s struggles.

But two of the Toffees’ most impressive signings this season have been Ben Godfrey and Abdoulaye Doucoure. And both players came from clubs relegated last year.

Anguissa looks to be a real class act in Fulham’s midfield. And it is an exciting thought to imagine how much more influential he could be working with some of the world-class players Everton have in their ranks.
