Everton appear to be closing in on James Rodriguez, with reports now claiming an agreement could be struck as soon as Wednesday.
Sky Sports have claimed the Toffees are getting ever closer to the Colombia international, with a medical to possibly take place later in the week.

Rodriguez is not in Zinedine Zidane’s plans at Real Madrid, and the Spanish giants are ready to cash in on a player that set them back a whopping £71 million (BBC Sport).
The 29-year-old, who rakes in £200,000-a-week at the Bernabeu, has struggled for consistency over the past few years.
He couldn’t find his feet again during a two-year loan stint at Bayern Munich, and a new chapter starting this summer seems almost certain for the player, who only has a year left on his Real contract.
Everton have been tipped to complete a move for the playmaker, with Carlo Ancelotti having managed the South American previously at Real and Bayern.
TBR’s View – A big few days
Everton could be about to give their supporters something to shout.

It’s been a quiet window for the club so far, but the Rodriguez development is undoubtedly exciting, and it is also being widely reported that Napoli star Allan is Goodison-bound.
Such signings would instantly perk up the Everton faithful – especially Rodriguez.
He may have lost his way a little over the past few years, but he really could light up Goodison Park under Ancelotti.
