Everton reportedly still hold an interest in Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports in Italy.
According to Calciomercato, the Toffees ‘continue to respect’ the playmaker, who has failed to impress in Turin since his free transfer last year.
Rabiot has made 39 appearances for Juve to date but has only managed one goal.

That may not really be his game, but he’s also only provided one assist, which is a disappointing return.
Rabiot struggled on international duty against Portugal on Sunday, with the French press critical of his performance against Fernando Santos’ side.
Calciomercato’s report appears to suggest that Rabiot may already be looking at a departure from Juve, with Everton supposedly still keen having been linked earlier this year (La Gazzetta dello Sport).
Carlo Ancelotti was the man who gave Rabiot his debut at Paris Saint-Germain, describing him as ‘very skilful’ at the time (Le10 Sport).
TBR’s View – Everton fine as things currently stand
For one reason or another, it isn’t happening for Rabiot at Juve.

Maybe Everton will continue to monitor the player, but it seems right now that the Toffees don’t actually really need him.
He is quite similar to Andre Gomes, and Abdoulaye Doucoure is also a very good box-to-box player, which is another role Rabiot can play.
Midfield is now a strong area for Everton, and it would be hard to see Juve letting the star go on the cheap even though they got him for free.
