Report: Everton considering move for Real Sociedad stopper Geronimo Rulli
Everton are reportedly weighing up a potential move for Geronimo Rulli of Real Sociedad.
According to Spanish publication El Desmarque, the Toffees are thinking about providing some competition for Jordan Pickford, whose form was up and down in 2019/20.
The development comes amid an exciting time for Everton supporters, with three players imminent at Goodison Park.

STEVEN GERRARD TO ASTON VILLA IS WRONG.
Abdoulaye Doucoure, Allan and James Rodriguez are all expected to seal transfers without any issues, and Everton’s midfield options look very strong all of a sudden.
But fans would like to hope the spending won’t stop at the trio.
After conceding 56 goals in 38 league games last season, fans will hope to see defensive reinforcements.
Rulli has been with Sociedad since January 2017 after making a £4 million transfer to Manchester City, for whom he never made a first-team appearance.
El Desmarque add Everton would be hopeful of agreeing a deal for under €10 million/£9 million, and that Sociedad would not refer the Toffees to the player’s €40 million/£35.6 million release clause.
TBR’s View – Pickford needs strong competition
Everton fans will hope that if Rulli is to sign for the club, he’ll be able to lay down a suitable challenge for Pickford.

The England international came under fire last season for some of his performances, with questioning his ability to manage his emotions and retain his focus.
He played every single Premier League game in 2019/20 which if anything indicates that, currently, Pickford has life easy in terms of retaining his place in the side.
