Everton are reportedly interested in PSV Eindhoven attacker Steven Bergwijn.
According to the Daily Mail in its live blog (August 8, 08:27am), the Toffees are considering a move for the 21-year-old from the Dutch club.
It is understood that he’s seen as an alternative to Crystal Palace Wilfried Zaha.
The Sun reports that Everton have offered Zaha a £200,000-a-week deal and he’s handed in a transfer request at Palace, but they are refusing to buckle over his future and value him at £120million.
Everton have been chasing Zaha this summer from domestic rivals Palace, but it seems they are looking abroad on deadline day to try find a quality attacker.
Bergwijn is someone that has come through the academy ranks at PSV and developed into an exciting young player.

Bergwijn is a versatile attacker that can play anywhere across the frontline, but is particularly dangerous as a left-winger when he can torment full-backs.
The Holland international is blessed with rapid pace and great technical ability, which is why he looks like an ideal Zaha alternative.
He scored 15 goals and supplied 13 assists for PSV last season in 41 games across all competitions, so would surely inject quality to Marco Silva’s attack if they press ahead with a move to try bring him to Goodison Park.
