Everton reportedly beat Aston Villa to secure online car sale company Cazoo as their new shirt sponsors for the 2020-21 season.
Amid a difficult climate given the current global health crisis, Everton were on the hunt for a new shirt sponsor after ditching Kenyan sports betting company SportPesa earlier in the year.
It came as the club look to move away from associations with gambling and betting companies.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Everton’s deal with Cazoo is set to be worth around £10 million-a-year to the club and will see the Toffees become the only club in the Premier League sponsored by a British company.

The Mail is now reporting that Everton secured the £29 million deal ahead of Aston Villa, who also held discussions with Cazoo over a potential agreement.
Aston Villa remain in the hunt for a new sponsor and, as reported by SonkoNews earlier this year, Everton’s former sponsors SportPesa are in the running.
Everton fans have reacted positively in the decision to go with a British based company and move away from the associations with gambling that currently grip shirt sponsorship across the English game.
Everton, who will also be wearing kits made by Danish company Hummel from next term, are going to have some fresh new kits available for fans from next season.
Here’s hoping they look as good as some of the concepts currently doing the rounds online.
