Reports in Russia have claimed that representatives from Premier League clubs Everton and Wolves were in attendance to watch striker Artem Dzyuba against Scotland.
According to raifan.ru, the 31-year-old was the subject of interest for scouts of the English clubs, who know he is out of contract next summer.
Dzyuba, who scored Russia’s first goal in the 2-1 Euro 2020 qualifier win at Hampden Park, is signed up to the Gestifute agency, which is headed by super agent Jorge Mendes – a man Wolves fans of course know all about.
Crystal Palace representatives were also reportedly present to watch the 6ft 5in hitman, and so there could be a real tussle for his services.
Everton have been linked with Dzyuba before, with RT reporting on the club’s supposed interest back in January.
Dzyuba on a free transfer would be worth it for any of the teams mentioned.
The star, who plays his football with Zenit Saint Petersburg, is the definition of a real handful and could be a hit in the Premier League which is know for being physical.
Wolves already have Raul Jimenez, but Nuno Espirito Santo is somewhat light in attack.
Everton signed Moise Kean in the summer, and Marco Silva does have Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun in reserve, and also Richarlison, but Dzyuba would bring something different to the equation.
