Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are the pair leading the chase to sign Benfica defender Andre Almeida.
According to the Sun, the Premier League duo are the frontrunners for the 28-year-old in the summer transfer window.
It is understood that he may be available for a bargain price of £10million due to his modest wages.
The report details that English trio Leicester City, Southampton and Brighton are also keen on the Portuguese full-back.
Almeida has made it clear he wants to test himself in the Premier League, after winning the Liga Nos with Benfica this season.
The right-back has made 53 appearances across all competitions this term and provided a brilliant 12 assists in return, which highlights his quality when going forward.

TBR’s View:
Almeida has just enjoyed a brilliant campaign in his homeland with Portugal and looks like he will have a positive impact in the Premier League.
The attack-minded defender could certainly compete with Seamus Coleman at Goodison Park if Everton win the race for him, with his £10million price a potential bargain for the finished article.
Meanwhile, Wolves already have a strong Portuguese contingent in their squad and Almeida would compete with right wing-back Matt Doherty if he moves to Molineux.
Almeida has senior international caps for Portugal and experience at Champions League level, which is why he looks a shrewd addition for Everton or Wolves if they win the battle for him.
