Everton and Tottenham could be set for a January battle when it comes to Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, according to Italian publication, Tuttomercatoweb.
Milik was the talk of the transfer window for a number of clubs over the summer. Spurs, Everton, and Manchester United were all linked at some point with the forward. However, a move failed to materialise with Milik remaining a Napoli player.
However, it doesn’t look like the chase for the Polish striker is over just quite yet. According to Tutto, both Everton and Spurs could revisit their interest in Milik in January.
The 26-year-old has over 50 caps for Poland, scoring 14 times, and has been a long-time consistent performer for Napoli over the last couple of seasons in Serie A.
A number of clubs in Italy were also monitoring Milik, with Juventus and AC Milan among them. However, a move to the Premier League has always looked likely and it could well happen in the winter window.

Spurs will probably not need another striker given they have signed Carlos Vinicius and added the likes of Gareth Bale to the squad.
However, a move to Goodison Park might work for Milik, especially if they continue their fine form so far this season. The Toffees will also need a stand-in for Dominic Calvert-Lewin should he get a knock.
Milik is a fine player and given Everton’s quality already, he’d be a fine addition to the ranks for Carlo Ancelotti.
