Reports in Italy have suggested both Everton and Newcastle United are interested in signing Torino striker Andrea Belotti.
As reported by Tuttosport, and relayed by CalcioNapoli24, Everton and Newcastle have both made contact regarding a potential deal for the Italian striker.
However, they are set to come up short. According to the report, Torino president Urbano Cairo has made it clear that Belotti is not for sale this summer at any price.

Everton’s apparent interest in the bullish frontman is nothing new.
Back in April, it was reported by Tuttosport that Everton had seen a £39.5 million bid for the player rejected. It was said he is appreciated by fellow Italian and Goodison Park boss Carlo Ancelotti, with Everton looking at adding a better target man in attack.
Newcastle United’s interest appears to be fresh. However, given that previous asking price, would only be a genuine prospect if ownership of the St James’ Park club actually changes hands this summer.
Belotti scored an impressive 22 goals in 44 games last season for Torino but is also the club captain and is not believed to be pushing for a move.
Whilst both Everton and Newcastle were right to ask the question, it looks very unlikely that either club will be signing the 26-year-old this summer.
