Manchester United are weighing up a summer move for Everton star Richarlison, according to The Telegraph.

The Brazilian attacker has had a decent first season at Goodison Park following his £50 million (£35m initial, +15 add-ons) move from Watford last summer.

The 21-year-old has been an ever-present for the Toffees and has hit 14 goals so far across all competitions.

He has impressed in a variety of positions, and apparently the Red Devils are ready to test the waters with Jadon Sancho an unlikely acquisition.

Everotn will not want to lose Richarlison so soon after signing him, meaning United will surely have their work cut out to bring such a deal to fruition.

TBR’s view

Perhaps United decided to consider Richarlison after the forward bagged a goal against them last weekend and generally played well for the Toffees.

United’s reported interest perhaps represents just how quickly Richarlison has developed over the past couple of years – he was still playing for Fluminense back in his homeland in 2017.

There’s no doubting his ability and potential, but it is hard to imagine Richarlison would move on from Everton after just one season as he did from Watford.

He is a favourite of Marco Silva’s and very much fits the blueprint of what Everton are trying to do with their squad.
