Paris Saint-Germain are said to be ‘close’ to making an offer for Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.
The Dutch international has been in brilliant form this season and stood out during the recent Champions League semi-final against Tottenham Hotspur.
van de Beek struck the game’s only goal in north London to hand the Amsterdam giants the advantage going into next week’s second leg.

It was van de Beek’s 15th strike of the season, and Canal Plus (via Calciomercato) report PSG are set to make an offer for the coveted midfielder, who is also being tracked by Spurs.
FCInterNews.it reported earlier this week that Mauricio Pochettino wants the 22-year-old to replace Christian Eriksen if he leaves, and that the club are willing to fork out £45 million.
TBR’s view
With PSG seemingly now in the hunt for van de Beek, Spurs will have to move early if they want their man.
The French champions appear certain to be losing Adrien Rabiot for free at the end of the season meaning the need for a new central midfielder is very much there.

Tottenham also have need with Mousa Dembele having left in January.
PSG are likely to be able to offer better wages to the player, but Spurs have a solid contingent of former Ajax players and their new stadium is surely a big lure.
